Jobs: News Presenter

Published on Monday, February 8, 2010 by Brad - Webmaster

News Presenter wanted.

AIR News is looking for someone to take over the daily Riverina News service.

We need someone that understands the importance of news, and who is able to collate from all available resources to provide an up to date service each morning Monday to Friday.

There’s not a lot of money in it, but there is some, and it will be heard on a number of Community radio stations across the Riverina, so there’s a bit of local “prestige” to the role.

You need a good news presentation style, a home studio (we can assist) and a broadband connection. You’ll need to be comfortable with voice recording and editing too. This is a skilled position.

We’re realistically looking for someone in a major Riverina town that is able to pick up the local newspapers on a daily basis to assist with the collation of info. We cover the cost of the papers.

You’ll have access to all our news gathering resources and there may be the opportunity to increase your involvement with AIR News as you settle in.

Interested? contact admin@airnews.com.au in the first instance.
Applications close yesterday…well not really, but we need someone quickly.
