X-Awards Must be in by 31st March

Excitement is starting to build for the 2008 X awards.

Entries close in under 30 days and if you have not got you entries in for this years X awards now is the time to get them organised and in to the X Awards coordinator.

All the information you need for the X awards is already available on the Associations website www.scma1.com then follow the links to conference 2008 and then on to the X Awards.

There is a wide variety of categories to enter into and entry to the X Awards is free……that’s right free.

Here is your opportunity to show everyone what your station can do and achieve all you have to do is take a few minutes out of your day to make copies of the pieces your station wants to enter burn them onto CD and send them in to X Awards, Po Box 891, Barham, NSW, 2732 or email them to info@scma1.com along with your entry forms and you are entered.

Not only do you have the chance of picking up a prestigious X Award but the final three entries all receive a finalist certificate to recognise they made it to the finals.

The X Award Presentation takes place at the conference dinner on Saturday May 3rd 2008 as part of the National Regional, Rural and Sub Metro Broadcasters Conference. The awards are open to all financial members of the Southern Community Media Association regardless of if they are attending the conference or not as well as any non member station who has registered to attend the Conference.

So get off your butts and take the time to enter this years Prestigious X Awards these are the Awards for excellence in Community Broadcasting and you could be the winner of one of the categories all you have to do is enter.
